Actually, although many millions of people believe, or
at least say they believe, in some type of "Rapture" or
Resurrection and Ascention about the year 2000 AD,
preceded by a great "Time of Trouble", and involving
a literal, but perhaps "secret" return of Jesus Christ,
these millions are far outnumbered by those who don't!
and others non-religious.....Moslems and Jews make up a fair percentage
of the religious non-believers in a RAPTURE, although there are many
more non-religious Jews than there are religious Jews....Both of these
groups are outnumbered by Roman Catholics, who, if they believe in
any type of "Second Coming", don't believe that either the world will
end at this event, or that Jews will rule the world politically or religiously
if and when Christ appears once more....
......Those who claim no religious beliefs of an orthodox or denominational
type contain millions more who either read Horoscopes, expect major
changes due to Astrological predictions, or follow Eastern religions and
Indian religions whose prophets and Seers have made prophecies that
parallel those of the Christian religions.....Some New Age speculations
do, indeed, involve some type of "Rapture", but of a type which varies
too much to really pin down easily in the space you are willing to read
here on healthark.com.
