PROTEIN MYTHS!

Ever since the WEST was won, and American cattle

have roamed the former prairies, people in the USA

have been told from grade-school on up that their

bodies needed a certain amount of MEAT to stay

healthy....the foolishness of this advice is obvious to

anyone who takes time to think about it....Do cows,

bulls, horses, and elephants eat MEAT?....NEVER!

And yet these are some of the strongest animals we

have....Gorillas and Urangutans are vegetarians also...

and some suppose these were our ancestors!

........The TRUTH is, almost every kind of food in

it's natural state has PROTEIN in it, and as long

as one eats several kinds of natural grains and

legumes [beans, peas] a day, they will get enough

of the right kinds of protein.....Witness the adequacy of

the Mexican-American diet...These people mix corn and beans [nachos,

bean burritos, chili, etc.] and derive enough energy and strength from

this diet to do much of America's farm labor....Those who switch to

our hamburger and fast-food diet soon find themselves suffering from

the same overweight, high blood-pressure, and heart problems we do!

An exception to this generally TRUE rule is the

Amino acid GLUTAMINE, which promotes HGH

production....on limited DIETS, extra GLUTAMINE

may be required....

CALCIUM MYTHS!

Another area where Advertising has brain-washed the

American public is that they need a lot of milk to stay

healthy....The selling point is the Calcium, and soft

and broken bones is the THREAT....What they DON'T

tell you is if you do no exercise, this extra Calcium

WON'T go to your bones, and if your harmones are

decreased, no amount of milk will rectify this...

Meanwhile, your arteries are getting clogged up with

butterfat, and your coffin is waiting!

......Much better that you drink skim-milk, or 2% milk,

and take TUMS or some other Calcium supplement,

if you are sure there is a deficiency....

......If you're eating something dry and crumbly, wash

it down with APPLE-JUICE!

And drink lots of water! 3d way to lose weight!
